Welcome to 2017 everyone!
My first fitness update is that I won the gym competition I had going with my boyfriend for the first semester or school! It’s a little thing we have going to try to keep each other motivated to go to the gym more often and I found it really helps keep me on track. I started to get a good routine down of going to the gym more consistently because of it and I love the feeling when you actually want to to go the gym! I really never thought i’d experience that. But we are starting again this term with new stakes and i’m excited!
I haven’t really made any progress weight wise, but I’m not stressing about it. I know ate pretty terrible during exam season, but instead of being mad at myself I think I really need to practice respecting how my body is now. As someone who had an eating disorder in the past I know how important it is for me to get fit the healthy way. So I’m going to to keep recording my weight, maybe once a week, just to track how my body is changing, but not with a specific number in mind. I want to appreciate my body at every number, and that’s really hard for me, but I know I need to reach the point where I can love my own body.
